The 2025 Volkswagen Golf GTI returns with a bold refresh that blends style, tech, and performance in a way only the GTI can. Its updated design includes striking new paint colors and exclusive wheels for the Autobahn trim, giving it a sharper, more modern edge.
Inside, Volkswagen has swapped the haptic touchpads for more intuitive push-button steering wheel controls, enhancing the driver experience. Under the hood, the GTI is powered by the EA888 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, delivering 241 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, paired with a quick-shifting 7-speed DSG® transmission.
Performance is further elevated with a torque-sensing limited-slip differential, while cabin tech shines with a 12.9-inch MIB3 infotainment system, customizable 30-color ambient lighting, and standard IQ.DRIVE® driver assistance features. The result is a hot hatch that’s smarter, more stylish, and more engaging than ever. Inquire below.

The front sport seats in the 2025 Golf GTI are heated, bolstered, and nod to the original GTI with their unique ergonomics, integrated headrests, red stitching, “GTI” embroidery, and classic grey-and-black tartan “Scalepaper” fabric on the seat and backrest areas. SE trims introduce new Clubsport ArtVelours seats in Soul Black with red detailing, while optional Vienna leather in black and grey with red accents comes standard on the Autobahn trim. Red contrast stitching and trim highlights are featured throughout every model for a sporty finish.
The Golf GTI’s driver-focused layout is clear in its updated center stack, which houses a 12.9-inch floating display subtly angled toward the driver for better visibility. Key controls are thoughtfully placed to enhance comfort and convenience. For example, a shared “Light and Sight” digital panel to the left of the steering wheel allows easy access to lighting and defrost functions.
For 2025, every Golf GTI comes standard with the Discover Pro MIB3 infotainment system, complete with navigation and a 12.9-inch touchscreen. It includes voice control, Bluetooth connectivity for supported devices, multi-phone pairing, HD Radio, and SiriusXM® with 360L and a three-month Premium Plan trial. Volkswagen’s AI-powered voice assistant, Plus Speech with AI, is also offered via a subscription in the myVW app, with a one-year trial included.
Standard across all GTI trims, the advanced Volkswagen Digital Cockpit gives drivers a fully digital instrument display. Each model includes the 10.25-inch customizable Digital Cockpit Pro, offering up to four viewing modes—like full-screen navigation—and a variety of display options for vehicle status, directions, trip info, phone details, and driver assistance systems. With the built-in navigation, a full map can be shown in the digital cluster and on the center touchscreen at the same time.
