Bentley Become Odyssey: composition built around contrast

Created by perfumers Pierre Gueros and Alexandra Carlin, Become Odyssey combines citrus, spice and woody notes. Bentley publishes the fragrance notes in three groups:

• Top notes: bergamot oil and fresh ginger oil.
• Heart notes: black pepper oil and a tea accord.
• Base notes: vetiver oil, a sandalwood accord and musks.

In perfumery, top notes shape the first impression, heart notes give the composition its central character, and base notes form its longer-lasting foundation. These terms describe a fragrance’s structure. An accord is a blend that creates a particular scent impression.
