The Ferrari 296 GT Modificata takes performance to an exciting new level. Its 2992 cc V6 produces 730 cv (537 kW), delivering an impressive 130 cv more than the race model. Advanced aerodynamics further define its purpose. The slotted splitter, the specific bonnet at the front, and the two supplementary air intakes for brake cooling are joined at the rear by an all-new wing with structural endplates, a single centre pylon, and a larger new Gurney flap.
Inside, the two-seater cabin makes the experience just as rewarding. Drivers can share the thrill with a passenger or take to the circuit alongside a coach to sharpen their skills and explore the capabilities of the Ferrari 296 GT Modificata. Learn more at an indiGO Auto Group Ferrari dealer.

Created for non-competitive track driving, the Ferrari 296 GT Modificata was developed for the Club Competizioni GT programme, giving Ferrari clients an exclusive members-only experience at some of the world’s most prestigious circuits while helping drivers develop their skills behind the wheel.
The 296 GT Modificata produces 730 cv (537 kW) at 7,500 rpm, 130 cv more than the Balance of Performance-regulated 296 GT3 Evo. It also reaches a new benchmark in specific power output at 244 cv/l (179 kW/l).

The new Ferrari 296 GT Modificata is powered by a rear-mid-mounted 2,992 cc 120° V6, based on the engine architecture of the 296 GT3 Evo but extensively developed for greater performance. Updates include the cranktrain, camshafts, induction line, intercoolers, and turbochargers. While the turbos retain the exterior housing geometry of the 296 GT3 Evo, their internal components were developed specifically for the 296 GT Modificata, drawing on experience from the 499P Modificata. The fuel system was also optimized for increased flow and gains an additional low-pressure pump.
The 296 GT Modificata features newly designed tailpipes along with revised transmission gearing. Ferrari engineers developed new ratios for the six-speed sequential gearbox with a carbon clutch, allowing it to make the most of the engine’s expanded operating range while enhancing performance and driving enjoyment during non-competitive track sessions. The Ferrari 296 GT Modificata features dedicated aerodynamic upgrades at both the front and rear. A redesigned front bonnet uses a larger central opening and a specific vane to direct hot air from the front radiator away from the lateral intercoolers, while a revised vent near the windscreen helps manage temperatures beneath the front bonnet.
At the front, a new “Slotted Splitter” improves airflow beneath the car and helps generate greater overall downforce. At the rear, a completely redesigned wing maintains aerodynamic balance while improving performance. It features a new centre pylon, a 5 mm Gurney Flap, and 499P-inspired endplates that provide structural support while helping control airflow and manage the vortices generated by the wing.

The Ferrari 296 GT Modificata is designed to help drivers sharpen their skills while sharing the track experience with a passenger. Changes to the roll bar allow for a two-seat cabin, giving drivers the opportunity to bring a passenger along or drive with an instructor during track sessions. Real-time coaching can help drivers improve their technique, while a dedicated passenger footrest adds comfort and an integrated intercom keeps both occupants connected throughout the drive.
