He stressed that the luxury brand measures success not by volume but by the exclusivity and personalization of each vehicle. Rolls-Royce focuses on making sure that "every car they make is bespoke, personalized to the client, and that it has more and more value to the client." Spahn further explained, "The more bespoke work we do, it makes us happier, we have the capacity to do that." He also mentioned that they are expanding their facility, not so much to increase production numbers, but to enhance the bespoke offerings for each commission. Leno is no stranger to groundbreaking vehicles, yet Jay Leno's 2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre stands out. He describes this luxury EV as the "F1 of comfortable automobiles. "This is the first time I've ever bought an automobile based on comfort," he remarks, highlighting the seamless blend of luxury and quiet efficiency that defines the Spectre. The 2024 Spectre is heralded as the quietest automobile ever produced by any company, a feature that Leno describes as "the definition of road-hugging weight." It's an automobile where the build quality is so superior, "you just don't get this in most automobiles, even most high-end automobiles," adds Leno.

Leno appreciates the tactile balance of the Spectre’s cockpit, which features both touchscreens and buttons—a nod to traditionalists who aren’t touchscreen aficionados like Leno himself. "You get in the Spectre and you just go," says Gerry Spahn, emphasizing the car's effortless simplicity, devoid of complicated modes or settings.

Reflecting on his affection for early cars due to their wooden interiors, leather finishes, and fine craftsmanship, Leno also acknowledges their unreliability and the electrical weakness that comes with them. Although he's a fan of single focus automobiles and he bought the Spectre for comfort, Jay Leno recognizes its impressive performance.

When asked how he liked the suspension, Jay Leno points out that the 2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre is a heavy automobile, so you tend to drive it conservatively. Notably, it is the most aerodynamic Rolls-Royce ever built. He adds that the 577 horsepower and 663 lb-ft of torque–mirroring the specs of the Black Badge Ghost–is more than enough. Impressed with its range capabilities, Jay Leno tells us about his drive up the California hills. He goes on to say that he took his Rolls-Royce Spectre on a drive up and down the hills of California and after the drive, the range was 291. "I actually put gasoline in it," Jay added jokingly. One could say you refill as you drive due to B mode, a regenerative mode, "a nice, elegant single pedal drive," as Gerry Spahn puts it. Thus, with the regen, you're constantly putting electricity back in.

Most interesting to Jay is that the Spectre tends to regen a lot quicker than other electric cars he's driven due to how heavy it is. When asked how it is to drive with a regen, Jay said that he liked it. He adds that it is a pleasure that driving it adds more juice to the Spectre. He gives us the example that he went up the hill with a range of 250 and once he got to the bottom the range increased to 255. In short, with the 2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre, you do not have to worry about range.

Another feature that impressed Leno was the turn radius with four-wheel steering which he said does a great job. This allows the 2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre to slip into the next lane smoother when you're in highway speeds of over 55 mph, you go from counter steering, then you to go complimentary and both wheels turn the same way, making the transition smoother.
