Who is Aryton Senna? Celebrating a timeless legend.

Aryton Senna was the greatest driver F1 has ever known, and many of his finest moments were achieved with McLaren. Ayrton Senna’s mastery of the racetrack is near mythical. His skill and courage were unparalleled. Tragically, his life ended prematurely at the age of 34 during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix in Imola. He left behind an impressive legacy with 41 race victories, 65 pole positions, 80 podium finishes, and three world championships—all of which he secured driving for McLaren. During his remarkable six years with McLaren, he created countless unforgettable moments.

30 years after his death, Senna remains the ultimate benchmark in Formula One for drivers, fans, and the media alike when evaluating racing achievements. So, on the 30-year anniversary of Ayrton Senna’s untimely passing, McLaren Automotive is collaborating with McLaren Racing for the first time, to pay tribute to one of F1’s greatest drivers.
