Travis Pastrana took the ultra-exclusive Bentley Supersports for the ultimate spin around the Bentley campus.

When Bentley set out to show just how extreme the new Supersports could be, they handed the keys to someone who lives at the edge of control. Enter Travis Pastrana. In Bentley’s most dynamic film to date, ‘Supersports: FULL SEND’, Pastrana demonstrates the Supersports’ refined power, turning refined performance into a masterclass of precision drifting.

With rear-wheel drive and 666 PS delivered as standard, the Supersports proves it’s far more than a grand tourer. Sustained slip angles, effortless donuts, and perfectly controlled slides unfold as Pastrana pushes the car to its limits. A specially prepared Supersports—fitted with a hydraulic handbrake and power-braking capability—allowed the team to fully showcase what’s possible when raw performance meets fearless driving.

Supersports: FULL SEND

Bentley selected Pastrana for the project in recognition of his legendary career, defined by boundary-pushing stunts, motorsports victories, and a lifetime spent at the edge of extreme sports.

For Pastrana, the drive was unlike anything else: “I knew the Supersports would have a lot of power but I was happily surprised by how nimble and fun it was to drive. I’ve never driven a production-based car to film a video of this magnitude before, without a clutch or modified steering angle, I had my concerns - but the Supersports exceeded all of my expectations. It was exactly what I had hoped for - the perfect combination of luxury and performance.

Preparing the Supersports FULL SEND car

To give Pastrana the freedom to explore the Bentley campus while pushing the Supersports well past the edge of grip, Bentley explains that engineers made a series of targeted enhancements to an already formidable machine. Starting with a standard Supersports, the team sharpened its agility with one crucial addition: a hydraulic handbrake positioned beside the steering wheel, allowing the rear wheels to lock instantly on command.

Bentley’s chassis and transmission specialists then went a step further, seamlessly integrating the system into the car’s controls. The result was immediate power delivery the moment the handbrake was released—letting Pastrana flick the car sideways ahead of tight corners and carry controlled, sustained drifts all the way through them.

Additional refinements came through bespoke software updates that enabled power braking—allowing the throttle and brakes to be applied at the same time. This capability gave Pastrana precise control over the car’s attitude mid-drift, while also unlocking the ability to execute both static and rolling burnouts with ease.
