The race took a difficult turn early for Audi as Nico Hulkenberg was involved in a first lap incident that ended his race before the field could fully settle in. It was an unfortunate outcome with valuable points still within reach.
On the other side of the garage, Gabriel Bortoleto steadily worked his way through the field after starting near the back. With a smart strategy and consistent pace throughout the race, he capitalized on key opportunities and continued to gain positions over the long runs. Audi drivers Gabriel Bortoleto and Nico Hülkenberg delivered a weekend filled with promise and resilience. Bortoleto finished 12th in the Miami Grand Prix after a competitive race through the midfield, while Hülkenberg unfortunately retired before the finish following technical issues.
Nico encountered a technical issue during the early stages of the race that ultimately brought his day to an early end. With the problem unable to be identified and resolved during the event, the team made the decision to retire car #27.
