Merging refinement and supercar features, the McLaren 570S Spider provides a rush of exhilaration to any driver who sits behind the wheel. Quick, stunning and lightweight, the 8-liter twin-turbocharged McLaren V8 engine with a seven-speed, seamless-shift gearbox produces a class-leading 562 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. The iconic two-seater adds a wonderfully integrated and retractable hardtop that takes only a mere 15 seconds to open or close at a speed of 25 miles per hour.
“Maintaining the purity of the Sports Series’ form language was crucial when designing the 570S Spider and a retractable hardtop rather than a fabric roof was key to achieving this. The Spider has a purposeful, dramatic silhouette, roof up or down, but with the roof lowered beneath the tonneau deck the car also has a real sense of fun that perfectly captures and reflects the way it drives,” explained Rob Melville, Design Director of McLaren Automotive.
The 570S allows customers to choose from an array of three new exterior colors with the retractable roof finished either in the body color or in Dark Palladium Grey.
