Turning up the heat just in time for Valentine’s Day, Aston Martin is set to unveil its AMR23 Formula 1 race car during a digital presentation on Feb. 13.
The launch of the AMR23 Formula 1 race car will be held at the British automaker’s all-new Silverstone campus and broadcast across AMF1 digital channels.
The AMR23 racing car was designed and developed by the Aston Martin team and is set to compete in the 2023 Formula One season.
Aston Martin first participated in Formula One during the 1959 racing season. That’s when the British automaker debuted the DBR4 chassis.
Racing Point F1 Team was eventually rebranded and returned to racing two years ago, this time powered by Mercedes units. Owned by Aston Martin executive chairman Lawrence Stroll, the Silverstone-based team now has Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll as its drivers.
