The buzz about the 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster has not dulled since the roadster’s release earlier this year, and dealerships across the nation have been eager to share the new redesign with customers. On Friday, September 23rd and Saturday, September 24th, Porsche of North Houston hosted a two-day test driving event to showcase the new 718 Boxster to Porsche enthusiasts in the Houston, Texas area.
Guests were invited to stop by the showroom on Friday or Saturday to test drive the 718 Boxster and enjoy specialty coffees from a personal barista. Along with upscale coffee drinks, the dealership served fresh Italian sodas accompanied by an upscale candy bar with delectable treats in the colors of this Porsche’s theme—sunset. To set the backdrop, a red Boxster sat in the showroom surrounded by five large-screen TVs showcasing an exciting Boxster video.
Over 25 drivers tested the new 718 Boxster, and one even took home the red-hot display model. Everyone walked away with a Porsche 718 Boxster metal paperweight and a trendy vintage Boxster poster. The entire team at Porsche of North Houston was excited to demonstrate the mid-engine model to their Texan customers.
