Continuing to further their accomplishment of holding the U.S. record sales streak, Audi has done it again, making this the 68th consecutive month of successful sales numbers. Here at indiGO Auto Group, we pride ourselves on representing such a successful brand that continues to grow and excel.
Audi has managed to raise their year-to-date sales by an outstanding 3.5 percent while increasing the demand for Audi SUVs year-to-date by 20 percent! The month of August was one of the most rewarding months for the brand, selling a total of 19,264 Audis. August was the second highest sales month (next to December 2015) in the brand’s history. Mark Del Rosso, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Audi of America, said, “We are certain that our momentum will result in sustained growth this year.”
When asked what models were causing such a rise in sales for Audi, Del Rosso added “August marks the end of a successful summer selling season with key models such as the Q3 drawing more customers to the brand.” The Q3 model sold 2,238 units last month, and the Q5 became the highest selling model with 4,419 sold in August alone.
