In an article published on AutoCar.com, Maserati said they will add hybrid models to their line-up in order to meet the increasingly strict emissions targets. The Italian automaker says the Ghibli, GranTurismo, GranCabrio andQuattroporte will be offered as plug-in hybrids by 2020!

Maserati’s European General Manager explained the Italian automaker “has to do it” but ensure they will electrify their vehicles without sacrificing performance.

Now all eyes are turning toward the upcoming Levante SUV that will be the first hybrid from Maserati.
