Land Rover has reached its 70thanniversary this year, and the national Land Rover team is ready to celebrate!
Land Rover created a gigantic 820-foot-wide Defender outline drawn in the snow in the French Alps. The tribute honored the Wilks Brothers’ first sketch of the original Land Rover shape. The exquisite art display was created to announce World Land Rover Day, to be celebrated on April 30—exactly 70 years since the original Land Rover was first shown to the public at the 1948 Amsterdam Motor Show.
