The 2024 Porsche Cayenne sets a new benchmark for performance in the luxury SUV realm with 348 horsepower and achieving a swift 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds.
And the Porsche Cayenne S models deliver even more road thrill. The new world-class SUV debuts with three different engines. Porsche explains, “An extensively refined twin-turbo four-liter V8 engine developed by Porsche replaces the previous V6 engine in the new Cayenne S. With a maximum output of 468 hp and 442 lb.-ft. of torque, the new V8 makes 34 hp and 37 lb.-ft. more than its six-cylinder predecessor. It accelerates both the SUV and the SUV Coupé to 60 mph in up to 4.4 seconds in combination with the Sport Chrono Package. The top track speed is 169 mph.”
The base Cayenne is equipped with a refined three-liter V6 single-turbo engine that has undergone optimization. This upgraded engine now produces an impressive 348 horsepower and 368 lb.-ft. of torque, marking an increase of 13 horsepower and 36 lb.-ft. compared to its predecessor.
Additionally, with its advanced off-road capabilities, this luxury SUV is engineered to conquer diverse terrains. The new shock absorbers incorporate dual-valve technology featuring distinct stages for rebound and compression, enabling optimal performance across various driving scenarios. Porsche has also improved, “comfort at slow speeds, handling during dynamic cornering, and pitch and roll management,” for a better driving experience. Additionally, Porsche adds that the optional adaptive air suspension in the 2024 Porsche Cayenne enhances driving precision and performance while minimizing body movements in dynamic driving scenarios.
