Rimac Automobili has announced that the Nevera’s battery system warranty will be significantly enhanced to 8 years.
The Croatian-based manufacturer confirmed that the Nevera’s battery system warranty will be extended to an impressive 8 years, accompanied by unlimited mileage. This upgrade is not only applicable to new Nevera owners but also retroactively includes all Neveras that have already been delivered.
This extension provides an extra seven years of coverage for the state-of-the-art 120kWh battery, featuring advanced liquid-cooling technology. It highlights Rimac’s confidence in the reliability and durability of their in-house developed battery system.

Designed to generate an astonishing 1.4MW of power, the Nevera showcases a distinctive H-shaped battery structure.
This groundbreaking design moves away from the standard flat-floor skateboard layout, allowing for a lower seating position for both the driver and passenger, thereby enhancing the overall driving experience.
The Nevera battery system was meticulously engineered to meet stringent requirements in terms of packaging, weight, and performance. As a hyper-GT vehicle, it was imperative for the battery to offer not only exceptional long-range capabilities but also consistent, fade-free performance during intensive use. To meet these exacting standards, Rimac developed a Lithium Manganese Nickel battery chemistry. A key feature of this battery is the water-glycol cooling plates, innovatively positioned to sandwich the battery cells. This ensures efficient and uniform cooling across the entire battery pack, a vital factor in maintaining performance and longevity.

The Rimac Nevera has demonstrated its remarkable capabilities through a series of record-breaking achievements.
In a notable event last year, it set 23 speed and performance records in a single day. This feat involved about 30 full-throttle acceleration runs in under 8 hours, all without any noticeable performance degradation. The vehicle also boasts an impressive range, capable of traveling up to 490 kilometers (WLTP) or 305 miles (EPA) on a single charge. Furthermore, it supports rapid charging at 500kW, a speed that currently surpasses the capabilities of most public charging stations.

Hendrik Malinowski, Bugatti Rimac’s Commercial Director, highlights the significance of Nevera’s battery system warranty extension: “A lot of mass market electric vehicles cover their electric vehicle batteries for around 8 years, limiting mileage to roughly the 100,000-mark. The Nevera is not just extremely fast, capable and luxurious but also easy to own, and this move is the latest affirmation of that. Our electric motors are maintenance free for life and our battery pack is under warranty for eight years. The extended warranty covers all major battery faults and guarantees at least 75% of the original charge capacity at the warranty’s end. Meanwhile, the production of the limited-volume Nevera is progressing rapidly at Rimac’s headquarters in Croatia, with deliveries ongoing worldwide.
