The 2024 McLaren GTS model was just revealed and has more power, less weight, and McLaren practicality.
The 2024 McLaren GTS will replace the GT, and according to McLaren, ” 0-124mph quicker than GT at 8.9 seconds; 0-60mph in 3.1 seconds.”
McLaren describes the GTS, “The super-lightweight GTS is engineered to delight drivers who demand the dynamic excellence and driving excitement of a McLaren and the ride comfort, refinement and luggage space suited to routine drives and extended journeys.”

When you want a true supercar driving experience, the GTS delivers that; when you want to relax on a longer journey or with luggage for a weekend away, the GTS is an ideal companion. This is a car that is true to McLaren’s racing DNA but with multiple layers of ability.”

2024 McLaren GTS Performance
McLaren cars are renowned for their exceptional handling and precise dynamics, and the new GTS solidifies that. The V-8 engine in the McLaren GTS now generates 626 horsepower, marking a 14-horsepower increase from the GT, with the same 465 pound-feet of torque.
This luxury supercar accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and boasts an impressive top speed of 203 mph. Additionally, the GTS stands as the lightest car in its class, weighing in at only 3,351 lbs (DIN), and “has a segment best power-to-weight ratio of 412bhp-per-ton,” according to McLaren. The V8 M840TE 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine now delivers an enhanced power of 626 bhp at 7,500 rpm, with an additional 14 bhp achieved through heightened crankshaft torque facilitated by more aggressive combustion phasing and revised ignition timing.
The seven-speed SSG transmission of the McLaren GTS gives the driver an enhanced driving experience in default-from-start-up Comfort mode. In addition, drivers have the opportunity to elevate their supercar experience by accessing two additional driving modes – Sport and Track – through the Active Dynamics Panel. Thus, the Three Active Dynamics modes – Comfort, Sport, and Track.
The intelligent adaptive suspension and standard carbon ceramic brakes on the 2024 McLaren GTS will give you the ultimate driving experience. The “precise steering with unmatched feel and feedback combine” to elevate all your journeys to new heights.

Exterior
The GTS paint colors include: Mantis Green, Tanzanite Blue, Lava Grey, and Ice White. While the exterior lines of the new GT remain basic, McLaren emphasizes that they serve as the foundation for the luxury supercar’s aerodynamic package and profile. However, the new visual enhancements of the McLaren GTS mean it’s even more assertive.
Moreover, it wouldn’t be McLaren if you didn’t have the opportunity to configure it yourself. For example, the GTS introduces fresh badging, featuring new side badges that can be tinted with a black finish by opting for the Stealth Badge Pack. Plus, visual carbon fiber options are available, such as the underbody carbon pack that includes the front splitter, side skirts, and rear bumper lower and diffuser.
McLaren also prioritized weight reduction as a key factor. The 2024 McLaren GTS rides on the carbon-fiber MonoCell II-T monocoque chassis, known for its robust yet ultra-lightweight construction, meeting the rigidity requirements of a mid-engine McLaren supercar. The standard composite roof, crafted from recycled carbon fiber, is one of several weight-saving solutions employed in the GTS’s construction, contributing to its optimal vehicle performance and dynamics.
The ultimate McLaren experience: McLaren Customer Racing
Three key points of the exterior include:
- The GTS includes a large rear diffuser and dual exhausts
- The standard wheel for the GTS is a 10-twin-spoke forged alloy wheel – Tungsten option
- Lower front fascia allows for increased airflow through the radiators
Interior
The interior of the new McLaren GTS was designed to match its robust performance and luxurious exterior. Step inside the GTS and you are welcomed with a range of high-quality materials. For instance, “Machine polished and knurled aluminum switches and controls are placed around the interior, including for the steering wheel-mounted gearshift paddles, alongside gloss black surrounds for the infotainment screen, gear-selector on the center console, air vent housings and window switches,” describes McLaren.
The McLaren GTS revolutionizes what it is to drive a supercar. You have the option to choose hidden-until-lit six-color ambient lighting and McLaren’s world-class glass panoramic roof (available with an electrochromic glazed panel) brings in the perfect day-light and gives you the perfect view of the night sky when late-night driving.
