Coupled with the 690bhp of the high-performance hybrid powertrain, this results in a power-to-weight ratio of 473bhp/tonne at the lightest dry weight. This ideal ratio perfectly positions the Artura Spider to maximize every facet of supercar high-performance, fully utilizing its mid-mounted engine and rear-wheel drive chassis layout.

Motor, Battery, and Range
The E-motor is fueled by a battery pack consisting of five lithium-ion modules, delivering a usable energy capacity of 7.4 kWh and extending the electric vehicle range to 21 miles. Employing cooling rails, the battery is refrigerant cooled to maintain optimal performance. This entire assembly, incorporating a power distribution unit for transferring battery power from the rear to the front ancillaries, is mounted on a structural carbon fiber floor. Bolted onto the rear base of the monocoque, this assembly optimizes stiffness, weight distribution, and crash protection. Remarkably, the Artura’s compact hybrid componentry, which includes a 194-pound battery pack and a 34-pound E-motor, adds just 287 pounds to the overall weight. This achievement is pivotal in the new Spider achieving its best-in-class weight figures. Note: the battery can charge up to 80% in 2.5 hours.

With the system deactivated, the roof becomes heavily tinted, blocking over 99% of light and allowing less than 0.1% of UV light into the cabin. Activating the system lightens the glass, permitting more than 39% of light transmission while blocking approximately 75% of solar energy, keeping the cabin significantly cool even during the hottest days. This advanced commodity is made possible with a new electrochromic film within the glass.
