2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS Performance: engine, horsepower, top speed, 0-60, and specs.
The twin-turbo V8 engine in the latest Cayenne GTS models has undergone significant updates from its predecessor. It now delivers 493 horsepower, marking a 40 horsepower boost over the previous Cayenne GTS. Additionally, the maximum torque has increased to 487 lb.-ft., up by 30 lb.-ft. from before. Complementing these improvements, the eight-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission has been optimized to enhance acceleration, offering noticeably faster response and gear shifting times, especially in Sport and Sport Plus modes.
With these enhancements, the 2025 Cayenne GTS can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds and reach a top track speed of 171 mph. Additionally, it features a separate water cooling circuit for the all-wheel drive system, Porsche Traction Management (PTM), a technology borrowed from the high-performance Cayenne Turbo GT. This advancement is designed to boost the vehicle’s durability during high-spirited driving on racetracks or twisty backroads, ensuring sustained performance under demanding conditions.
Upgraded Suspension Technology
The GTS-specific air suspension, the adaptive damper system PASM, and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus come standard on this model and feature a ride height that is 10 millimeters lower than other Cayenne models with air suspension. According to Porsche, all suspension components and control systems, including Porsche Traction Management (PTM) and the optional Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) for active roll stabilization, are finely tuned to enhance road-focused performance, ensuring a sharper, more dynamic driving experience.
The two-valve damper technology in the 2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS enhances responsiveness, while the two-chamber air suspension system ensures dynamic spring rates that maintain substantial ride comfort. Additionally, the front axle pivot bearings, borrowed from the Cayenne Turbo GT, increase the wheels’ negative camber by 0.58 degrees compared to other Cayenne models. This adjustment leads to more direct and precise steering and turn-in responses, significantly improving cornering performance.
