Porsche Experience Center Atlanta
If you live or are traveling to Atlanta, visit the Atlanta PEC which features a 1.6-mile driver development track.
According to the Porsche Driving site these are the modules:
- Dynamics Area: Test the speed, agility, and lane-change capabilities on an expansive asphalt pad meticulously crafted to replicate the distinct maneuvers you encounter in everyday driving.
- Handling Circuit: Embark on our one-mile handling course crafted to mirror the twists and turns of winding country roads. Here, drivers will master the art of selecting optimal paths through curves and perfecting braking techniques for a seamless driving experience.
- Low-Friction Circle: Discover the over-steer capabilities of a Porsche on a low-friction circle, featuring a uniformly sloped surface and polished concrete for an exhilarating experience.
- Low-Friction Handling Circuit: This polished concrete surface resembles the Low-Friction Circle, but with an added twist—you’ll encounter a series of distinct, tight curves. Experience a mixture of on and off-camber corners that will put your driving skills to the test.
- Kick Plate: Test your vehicle’s control skills in handling skids or spins. The kick-plate features a flush-mounted, hydraulically actuated plate positioned before a wet epoxy surface. As your vehicle traverses the plate at a safe speed, sensors prompt the plate to randomly shift left or right, simulating the sliding sensation encountered in inclement weather conditions.
- Off-Road Circuit: Discover the Cayenne SUV’s off-road prowess with our challenging course, complete with a 1:1 slope, creek bed, and a thrilling 45-degree vertical descent. This terrain showcases the impressive capabilities of the Cayenne’s off-road engineering and cutting-edge safety technology.

Not a Porsche owner? Don’t fret! Every PEC in the world is open to the public, even to those who do not own a Porsche. As long as you’re 21 and over and have a valid driver’s license, you’re in!
